Markings: The right of the frame is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.”, with the serial number and “GOVERNMENT MODEL”. The top of the barrel is marked “-COLT SUPER 38 AUTO N.M.-“. The left of the trigger guard is marked wtih a “VP” proof and “W”. The slide has 24k gold etched Polynesian patterns along the sides and top with “184 of 200” behind the rear slide serrations. The left side of the slide has a closeup of a man doing the Haka and the right side has two men doing the Haka.

Barrel Length: 5”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a diamond-studded blade fixed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a square notch dovetailed to the rear of the slide with two white dots.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece faux-ivory panels etched with Polynesian designs. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The designs are sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Blue & Gold

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is some finish wear on the “184: marking at the rear of the slide. The action shows very faint operational wear. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This pistol has a tight slide and a crisp trigger. This pistol was made without a firing pin block safety. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
