Our Assessment: Ruger introduced the Blackhawk in 1955 with the ‘Flat Top’ and ‘Pre-Warning’ versions paving the way to an inevitable evolution in the design; the New Model revolvers were designed with a Transfer Bar Safety, a measure taken to compensate for that pesky human error. This example is from 2007 and is notable for having a Bisley grip frame, which for a certain segment of the shooting world provides a far more comfortable shooting experience. The bore is bright and with a 7 1/2″ barrel, you add a little bit of energy and direction to the .44 Remington Magnum cartridge. Good luck and happy bidding!
