Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The yoke cut is marked “BSR1854 / MOD. 65-5”. The yoke is marked “005”. The left side of the frame is marked with the S&W monogram. The left side of the grip frame is marked “255 / G12 S O S”. The butt is marked “BSR1854”. The right side of the grip frame is marked “21514 005”. The right sideplate is marked “LADY SMITH”. The right side of the frame is marked with the four line Marcas Registradas address. The right side of the barrel is marked “S.&W. 357 MAGNUM”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade. The rear sight is a square notch in the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are smooth rosewood with S&W medallions. There is little to no wear on these grips. There is a light compression mark on the left grip. The inside of the grips are marked “ACE” in a clover. The grips rate in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is Bright and the rifling is Sharp. There is No erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is only a light dragline on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions Correctly in both single and double action. We did not fire this handgun.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in its original box with matching end label. The box shows light storage wear. There is a soft zipperless Bob Allen Lady Smith Case which has light oil staining. The original Owner’s Manual, Ace Grip Pamphlet and Warranty info are also included showing light wrinkling. All accessories rate in Very Good Condition.
Our Assessment: This is a .357 Magnum double action revolver on a Round Butt K frame with smooth Rosewood laminate Ace Grips with S&W medallions. It has a smooth combat trigger and a shrouded extractor rod. The extractor rod on 3″ barrels is full length, unlike those found on 2 1/2″ K frames and helps to facilitate case extraction and quick reloading. It comes in its original box with the Burgundy Bob Allen soft case. Although this is called a Lady Smith, this also feels great in a man’s hand. It’s good for both the gentleman and the lady. Ladies, if you want a serious protection revolver, this one is a fantastic choice. Men, don’t let the name make you feel like it can’t be for you. This is a great Smith & Wesson Stainless Revolver with a convenient 3” barrel length and comfortable smooth round butt grips which would serve as a perfect carry pistol.
