Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered walnut panels. There is a very thin split at the top of the left panel. There are scattered nicks and scuffs on the smooth borders and the bottom of the right panel shows finish loss at the rear. The checkering shows light handling wear and is generally sharp. There are no cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Good-Plus condition and would rate higher if not for the split.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no erosion. There is a small amount of minor fouling in the grooves

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 80% of its metal finish. There is thinning on the leading edges as well as light finish loss on the front strap and the bottom edge of the trigger guard. There are several evenly dispersed light nicks, dings, and scratches throughout with a few more notable scratches on the left side of the slide. There is some faint oxidation on the back strap. There are also some freckles of oxidation throughout the slide. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. It has a frame mounted safety and the round hammer has a half cock safety position. The trigger pull is crisp. The magazine disconnect safety has been deactivated. The slide is tight on the frame with only slight play. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a black Browning zipper case and a single 13-round magazine. There is also an additional 15-round magazine that does not fit into the pistol properly. Please note, no magazine will be included for purchasers who reside where it cannot be legally transferred.

Our Assessment: This is a Browning Hi-Power that was made by FN in Belgium in 1965. It is a “T-Series” Hi-Power, with the serial prefix used only from late 1964 until 1969. The pistol is in Very Good condition with about 81% of its metal finish, a great bore and strong mechanics. It comes with a black Browning zipper case, Browning holster, and a single 13-round magazine. Between being a T-series and this pistol’s good condition, this will make a great addition to any collection and could still serve as a great shooter, today. Please see our photos and good luck!
