Markings: The left side of the slide “HK 45C”, “.45 Auto”, “BC”, a proof mark and the serial number “216-005106”. The left side of the frame has a proof mark. The left and right sides of the grip are marked “HK45”. The bottom of the dust cover has a metal inlay with the serial number. The right side of the frame is marked “Heckler & Koch, Inc. / Columbus GA / Made in USA”. The right side of the barrel is marked “HK .45 Auto” and is serial matched with a proof mark. The bottom of the trigger guard has a safety disclaimer.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a Trijicon manufactured blade with a tritium dot at the center dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a Trijicon “U”-notch with two tritium dots dovetailed to the slide. The tritium dots still illuminate in the dark, but are a bit dull. There is an accessory rail integral to the frame (please note, no accessory is installed onto the rail or included with the gun). Included separately is a Streamlight flashlight and laser pointer in its original box.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The ambidextrous grip is one-piece textured polymer with an interchangeable backstrap. The grip has some light handling marks but lacks any significant Defects. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grip is in Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp polygonal rifling. There is no erosion in the bore, just some light fouling throughout.
Overall Condition: The pistol retains 97% of its metal finish. There is light thinning on the leading edges of the slide and controls. There is some minor operational wear. The markings remain clear. Overall, the pistol is in Fine-Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit is snug. The LEM trigger is smooth and breaks crisply. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: The pistol comes with its serial matched box, a user manual, a spare back-strap, the previously mentioned Streamlight flashlight & laser combo, additional mag floorplates, HK conversion parts w/ invoice, some tools, the original sights (they are not night sights), test casings, two holsters, a total of two 8-round magazines and a single 10-round magazine. Our Assessment: This H&K 45C is a single and double-action semi-automatic pistol chambered for .45 ACP rounds. The HK45 was designed to meet US military specifications and is based on the famous USP45 design. This particular gun is the HK45C, the compact variant of the HK45 which is better suited to concealed carry. The gun has a utilitarian matte black finish, an ergonomic design and it remains mechanically sound. This is a great option for personal defense and concealed carry.
