Markings: The top of the barrel is marked with Ruger’s two-line safety warning. The left side of the barrel is marked 300 BLK”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number, the Ruger phoenix logo and “RUGER AMERICAN”. There is a Ruger phoenix logo on the grip base. The bottom rear of the bolt assembly is marked with the serial number.
Two of the 10 round magazines are marked “AR-Stoner” on the bottom and “5.56” on the follower. The third 10 round magazine is marked “5.56 x 45 / PMAG 10 / GEN M3” and “MAGPUL”.
Barrel Length: 16.1 Inches, Threaded. A muzzle break is installed.
Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights on this rifle. The top of the receiver has a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base that has quick release rings installed holding a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4×20 scope. The scope body shows scuffs and light handling marks. The scope glass is clear.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece Flat Dark Earth (FDE) synthetic with textured and grooved forend, semi-pistol grip, straight comb and rubber recoil pad. There are sling studs mounted forward and rear. The stock has only very light handling marks scattered throughout. The LOP measures 14 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad. The recoil pad has a few light scuff and handling marks. The rubber remains supple. The stock is in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The metal shows scuffs and light handling marks. The screw heads are well defined and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: A muzzle break is installed. This rifle comes with a Leupold scope assembly as described above. It comes in its original shipping box with a nylon sling, manual, promotional paperwork, lock, thread protector and three 10 round magazines.
Our Assessment: The Ruger American Ranch is a bolt-action rifle designed with the same great quality as the standard Ruger American line but in common calibers, making ammunition less of an issue in daily work. They are designed to be more compact and versatile for easy handling. Built with durability and reliability in mind, this rifle should carry its wear in the field very well.
