Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number, Ruger’s two-line safety warning message, the Ruger phoenix logo and “STRUM, RUGER & CO. INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.”. The rear of the receiver is marked “RUGER® / RANCH RIFLE / CAL. 7.62 X 39”. The Ruger phoenix logo is on the grip base.
The 30 round magazine is marked “U.S.A. MAGAZINES”. Three of the 10 round magazines are marked “RUGER” on the side as well as with the Ruger logo and “RUGER / mini 30” on the bottom. The padded case is marked “LAPG”. The scope is marked “KONUSPRO-T30”.
Barrel Length: 18.5 Inches
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with protective ears integral to a base pinned to a band at the muzzle. The rear sight is an aperture on a mount fixed to the top rear of the receiver and is adjustable for elevation and windage. The receiver has integrated bases that can accommodate Ruger 1” rings (not included).
A 3-12 power scope sits atop a side mount with oversized takedown screw. The glass appears clear and the illuminated reticle functions. The scope assembly shows light handling marks.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The polymer stock has a pistol grip, checkered grip & forearm, ventilated handguard, 2 sling lops and a ribbed rubber recoil pad. The forearm checkering shows light soiling. The stock shows scuffs and light handling marks. The LOP measures 13 3/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The buttpad just has light handling marks. The stock is in Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The lands are bright, the grooves are semi bright and the rifling is deep. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The metal shows scuffs, light scrapes, and handling marks. The screw heads are intact. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle is topped with a scope assembly; see above. This rifle comes with one five 10 round magazines and a 30 round magazine. They all appear to function properly.
The 30 round magazine is not available in California or any state with magazine capacity restrictions.
The rifle comes in a green padded nylon soft case. The scope’s original box is included.
Our Assessment: American made and built to last, the Ruger Mini 30 for sale is an ideal rifle for hunting or just having fun at the range. Chambered in 7.62×39 ammunition that is ballistically similar to a 30-30, the Ruger Mini Thirty is a blast to shoot with the added attribute of being a phenomenal hunting firearm. Features on this autoloading rifle include a fixed-piston gas system and self-cleaning moving gas cylinder, Garand style action, a highly accurate cold hammer-forged barrel, integral scope mounts with patented rings, and a ghost ring rear aperture and a non-glare, protected blade sighting system.
