Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 98% of its finish. There are a few scattered handling and storage marks present, most notable on the bottom-front of the trigger guard. The action shows minor operational wear. The markings are shallow, but legible. The screw head remains sharp. Overall this pistol is in Fine-Excellent condition as refinished.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit is snug. We did not fire this firearm. As with all used firearms, it may need a thorough cleaning to meet your maintenance standards.

Box Paperwork and Accessories: The pistol comes with a single 7-round chrome-finished magazine. The floorplate is bent at the front-left. Otherwise, it shows minor wear.

Our Assessment: Because of the Gun Control Act of 1968, importation of the Walther PPK was disallowed, and Walther enlarged the pistol to the PPK/S model to get around the restrictions. The PPK/S was made by Walther into the 1970’s and then by license to Walther by Interarms starting in 1980 and continuing into the 1990’s, and later by Smith & Wesson, while during most of this time it was also manufactured by Manurhin in France. This is a Walther PPK/S in .380 ACP caliber made in West Germany by Walther in 1969.  This pistol is in Fine-Excellent condition with about 98% of its new chrome finish remaining, a great bore and strong mechanics. The pistol comes with a single magazine to get you started. If you want a small pistol for concealed carry or if you have small hands that won’t fit around a grip with a double stack magazine, this is a quality pistol that is great for concealed carry. Its chrome finish is great for every day carry due to its durability and corrosion resistance. Please see our photos and good luck!
