Markings: The rear of the frame beneath the hammer is marked “S30877”. The left side of the .223 barrel is marked “THOMPSON : CENTER ARMS 223 REM / ROCHESTER, N.H. SUPER 14”. The right and left sides of the receiver is marked with the cougar logo and “TC”. The .22Long Rifle barrel is marked “THOMPSON : CENTER ARMS .22 L.R. MATCH / ROCHESTER, N H SUPER 14”. There is a star in a square on the left side of the barrel lug and an “E” in a circle on the right side of the barrel lug.
Barrel Length: The .223 Remington barrel measures 14”. There is a muzzle brake at the muzzle which has a deeply recessed crown. The .22Long Rifle barrel measures 14” and has a recessed crown.
Sights / Optics: The .223 barrel is mounted with an Ultra Dot red dot sight which is fixed to a rail. The .22 long Rifle barrel is mounted with a hooded post front sight and a square notch rear sight which is adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are fancy walnut with finger grooves on the pistol grip. There is a rubber backstrap walnut grip which is also included. There are only the lightest of handling marks on these grips. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bores.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are only the faintest of handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. T/C Contender hammers have a three position switch that has a centerfire positioned firing pin on one side and a rimfire positioned firing pin on the other. The middle position acts as a safety. We did not fire this handgun.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Four pistol grip caps are included along with five hinge pins, a bag of hardware, a rubber backstrap pistol grip, the two stainless barrels described above, along with a green Boyt cloth case which rates in Very Good condition showing only light discoloration and storage wear. The owner’s manual is included and rates in Fine condition.
Our Assessment: This is a perfect kit which was a Fox Ridge Outfitters Custom package. It comes with two outstanding barrels. One chambered in .223 Remington and one chambered in .22Long Rifle; two very common and very fun cartridges. This stainless package looks really sharp not only because of its finish but because of the beautifully grained walnut grip and forend. This ought to be a ton of fun at the range or for varmint hunting. Treat yourself to a nice Thompson Center kit.
