Markings: The bottom of the receiver is marked “BROWNING” and a Browning buckmark on the trigger guard. The upper receiver is marked with the serial number. The water table has a Belgian proof mark, The sides and bottom of the receiver feature Grade B engraving. The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM BY BROWNING S.A.”. The left concealed portion of the upper barrel is marked “**” and the lower is marked “**-”. The left side of the monoblock is marked with the serial number.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a silver bead set at the front of the checkered rib. There is another smaller bead midway.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered wood with a straight grip, straight comb, and a black Browning buttplate. There are dispersed light draglines, compressions, and nicks. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering remains charp. The drop at the comb is 1 15/16” and the drop at the heel is 2”. The cast is about neutral. The LOP measures approximately 14 3/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate which shows little to know wear.. The stocks rate in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows dispersed faint little nicks and scratches throughout the barrel set. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine-Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Browning B125 is a double barrel over-under shotgun with a single trigger and selector switch. The B125 goes back about 20 years or so, making its debut circa 1983. This example was manufactured in 1994 and features Grade B engraving on the receiver. This is a beautiful gun that hasn’t seen much use in its life. The bores are bright and shiny and the barrel lock-up is solid as can be. Please see our photos and good luck!
