Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is the previously mentioned detached flash hider and a single 20-round magazine. The magazine shows standard operational wear with intact feed lips and a strong spring. Please note, no magazines will be included where prohibited by law.

Our Assessment: This M1A left the Springfield factory as a receiver only in 1987 and was built with a chrome-lined H&R barrel and an M14 stock. These service barrels are USGI issued and were manufactured by Harrington & Richardson (H&R) in the early 1960’s. This rifle has been nicely maintained, retaining roughly 95% original finish with a bright bore. This M1A National Match is in Fine condition and should make its new owner smile every time they take it out to the range. Please see our photos and good luck!
