Our Assessment: Going back to 1938, Walther has a long history of innovation in design and quality in production. The modern P99 is no exception. The grip frame has very good ergonomics and the controls are all low-profile yet easy to operate. Its polymer frame makes it light and combined with the 4” barrel, it is compact enough to conceal without hindering everyday activities. This pistol was manufactured in 1999 to commemorate the turn of the millennium. This example is in Excellent condition with little to no signs of use and may well end up joining a Walther collection that’s missing this more recent offering from one of the most pre-eminent German gun makers.
