Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY St LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM”. The barrel is marked with two Belgian proof marks, an inspection mark, and “CAL. 9m/mP.”. The right bow of the trigger guard is marked with a Belgian proof and an inspector’s mark, the left is marked “7”. The right side of the barrel lug is marked with some small factory markings. The bottom of the firing pin housing is marked with a Belgian proof, inspection mark, and small factory markings. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number “T172107”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a white dot recess that is dovetailed to the top of the slide. The rear sight is a fully adjustable Kensight square notch leaf that is dovetailed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth white synthetic panels with Browning medallions. The front and back strap are stippled. The grips show only light handling wear. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in about Excellent condition.
Also included are the original checkered wood panels which show some scuff marks and finish wear on the smooth borders. The checkering is well defined and there are no chips or cracks. The original grips rate in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is some very faint erosion scattered throughout.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no significant wear nor imperfections. The serrations are sharp. The action has faint operational wear. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are clean. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. There is barely perceptible play between the slide and frame. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a black case with two 13-round magazines, the original grips, and the invoice list of modifications performed on the pistol. Please note, no magazine will be included where prohibited by law.
Our Assessment: The Browning Hi-Power is a single-action, semi-automatic handgun available in the 9mm and .40 S&W calibers. It was based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Herstal, Belgium. Browning died in 1926, several years before the design was finalized. FN Herstal initially named the design the “High Power”, which alludes to the 13-round magazine capacity, almost twice that of other designs at the time, such as the Luger or Colt M1911. This is a customized T-series Hi-power that was customized by The Action Works. It features a beautiful chrome and black ion bond finish and a deluxe trigger job with a C&S hammer, sear, and wide trigger. This beautiful pistol retains about 99% of its custom finish and is in about Excellent condition. The bore is bright and the trigger breaks crisp.
