Our Assessment: The H&R M12 was made as a marksmanship training rifle to fulfill military requirements for training rifles as stocks of Remington 40X and Winchester Model 52 rifles diminished. With many of the same features including inlet accessory rail, globe front sight and aperture rear, many of these M12s were made available to the Director of Civilian Marksmanship (DCM) clubs which later became the CMP. If you are looking for a platform to hone your marksmanship skills or to pass on your knowledge to another, here is a good platform for you! Good luck in your bidding!.
