Markings: The left side of the slide is marked with “M&P 9”, “M2.0” and the Smith & Wesson logo. The right side of the slide is marked with “SMITH & WESSON / SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A.” and “CAUTION – CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED”. The top of the chamber is marked “9MM”. The right side of the frame has a metal plaque with the serial number “NKT0883”. The lower sides of the grip frame have the “M&P” logo.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a tritium lamp installed in a suppressor-height blade dovetailed to the top of the slide above the muzzle. The rear sight has 2 tritium lamps installed on either side of a suppressor-height square notch dovetailed and set screwed to the top rear of the slide. The night sights are bright.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip frame has a textured wrap-around finish. The surfaces are free from notable damages. The grip frame can accept interchangeable backstraps to adjust the size of the grip and three different backstraps not including the one installed. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some light operational marks on the barrel and chamber lug. The pin heads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a serial-matched black polymer case with foam inserts, instruction manual, chamber flag and 3 alternative backstraps in addition to the one installed. There are also adaptor plates (marked “Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6A, and 7”) and screws for the Optics Ready slide. There are no magazines included.
Our Assessment: The M&P 9 M2.0 is a 9mm full frame semi-auto striker-fired pistol with several improved features including the more aggressive textured grip with adjustable backstraps (4 total, 1 installed), tritium night sights, lower Picatinny rail for accessories (not included) and M&P 9 Pro series style trigger. The slide is already cut, drilled and tapped to accommodate a red dot optic and includes 7 adaptor plates depending on which optic you choose. A great utility gun in a ubiquitous caliber to get most things done. Definitely not something to be missed! Good luck in your bidding!
