Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are very minor nicks scattered about, only a few of which are through the finish. There is very minor thinning on some slide edges. The screws have light tool marks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Fine-to-Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. There is a quarter cock safety, left side thumb safety, and magazine disconnect. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This pistol includes its original serial-matching box, one (1) 8-round magazine with pinky extension, and the manual.

Our Assessment: On offer here is a Beretta 70S manufactured in 1981. This is an export version for the United States market, notable for its prominent left side thumb rest. In overall Fine-to-Excellent condition, this pistol has very little wear, the bore is good to go, and mechanically all is well—this is, of course, to be expected, as even the most well-worn Beretta will function—you don’t make firearms for a third of a century without picking up a few useful tricks! The included original factory box and manual round out the package nicely. Good luck and happy bidding!
