Markings: The bottom of the receiver is marked “KOLAR” with their rampant lion logo, the water table is marked “K01641”. The top of the forend iron is marked “1641”. The left of the top barrel is marked “12 GA. 2 3/4″ CHAMBER / USE FACTORY LOADED TARGET AMMUNITION ONLY”, the right is marked “KOLAR ARMS INC. – RACINE, WISC. U.S.A.”. The right of each barrel has an inspection mark below the forend line. The bottom of the bottom barrel has a warning to read the instruction manual. The monoblock is marked “1641”.
Barrel Length: 30″ Ported with Vent Rib
Choke: The barrels are threaded for removable chokes with Improved Cylinder over Skeet extended chokes installed. Extra extended chokes are included. The extra chokes are Extra Full, Full, Light Full, Light Modified, Modified, and Improved Modified.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a green fiber-optic insert in a base that is fixed to the rib and there is a smaller silver-colored mid-bead. The rib has a smooth center-line with fine checkering to each side for glare reduction.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered Grade II wood with Schnabel tip forend, pistol grip with slight right-side palm swell, adjustable comb, and black rubber Kick-Eez buttpad mounted an adjustable buttplate. The wrist has cracked in half and been repaired, the cracks are at about the rear of the bottom tang and visible on both sides. There is a peg on the bottom of the wrist that does not have any finish and is likely from the repair. There are some scattered draglines, compressions, and a few marks through the finish. The most noticeable marks through the finish are on the right side of the buttstock. The checkering is strong. The LOP measures approximately 14 1/2″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the pad as configured, 12 3/8″ to the back of the wood. The pad is still supple showing minor wear. As currently configured, drop at the front and rear of the comb are approximately 1 3/8″ and 1 5/8″, and at the rubber portion of the heel is 2 3/8″. The cast is slightly off. Overall, the stocks are in about Fine condition as repaired.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright with no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun set retains approximately 96% of its metal finish. The matte blued barrels have some scattered little scuffs and rubs, some have caused smooth spots and some have caused thinning. There are a few scattered minor marks through the finish. There is a spot of dark discoloration from previous oxidation on the left side of the upper barrel at the front of the forend. The receiver has some light handling marks. The action shows light operational wear. The screw heads have strong sockets. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun set is in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions. The action locks up tight with no play with both barrel sets. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a hard Americase, paperwork including the manual, the previously described Briley sub-gauge tubes, and the previously described chokes.
Our Assessment: This is a fantastic shotgun that will make for a versatile gun to use for Skeet or Trap. Kolar has developed a well-earned reputation for guns that are durable, dependable, and beautiful. This shotgun is no exception from its graceful lines to its gorgeous stocks, it is a gun that will turn heads and bust clays. This one is equipped with 30″ ported barrels and a fixed rib. Not only that but it comes with Briley sub gauge tubes so you can shoot .410, 28, and 20 gauge in addition to 12 gauge. The gun is in about Fine condition with minor handling and operational wear.
