Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “V10 ULTRA COMPACT / CAL .45”. The right side of the slide is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” with the Springfield logo. The top of the chamber is marked “S.A. .45 AUTO”. The right side of the chamber is marked “DANGER / EXHAUST PORTS / READ MANUAL”. The right side of the frame is marked “SPRINGFIELD / GENESEO IL USA / N352231” and “FI BRAZIL”. The right side of the trigger guard is marked “S” and “SS”.
Barrel Length: 3.5”, Ported
Sights / Optics: The sights are a three-dot system with a blade front sight with a dot fixed to the top of the slide above the muzzle. The rear sight is a two-white-dot with a square notch dovetailed into the top rear of the slide and is adjustable for windage.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are aftermarket Hogue 1911 Officers Model Rubber Grip with Finger Grooves – Black. There are only light handling marks on the grips. There are no chips, cracks, rips or tears. The grips are in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is only some operational wear on the barrel. The screw heads are well defined. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This Springfield Armory 1911 A1 V10 provides a lot of value in a compact frame. The long-lasting classic design of the 1911 in .45 ACP with cut slide and top-ported barrel to help mitigate recoil in conjunction with the Hogue grips tip a lot of advantages in the shooter’s favor.
