Our Assessment: This pistol is a Remington XP-100 Varmint Special chambered in .223 Remington with a 14 1/2″ barrel. This would make a fun gun to take to the silhouette range but the pistol can also be used to hunt smaller deer species and loaded with light bullets will be great for varmint or predator hunting. This one was well taken care of and has little wear to speak of. Whether you’re looking for more of a challenge in your hunting, want to show up other shooters on the rifle range with your pistol, or just want a cool bolt-action pistol in a popular caliber, this is an excellent choice. Please see our photos and good luck!
