Our Assessment: This is a Third Generation Colt Signature Series 1860 Army Officer’s Model. Produced from 1994-2002, it has been equipped with a handsome grip and comes with a presentation case as well as several accessories. The Signature Series, also known as the 3rd Generation of percussion revolvers, have Sam Colt’s signature engraved on the backstrap, but otherwise are faithful replicas of the originals. This example is in about Fine-plus condition with a few scattered light marks but little sign of actually having been fired. It should make for a great piece for any collection.
