Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “SIG SAUER P220”. The right side of the frame is marked “DE”, “G 525 252”, and “SIG SAUER INC.EXETER – NH / FRAME MADE IN GERMANY – SAUER”. The right side of the barrel visible through the ejection port is marked “.45 Auto”. The top rear of the grip panels is marked “HOGUE”.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a blade with white dot dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a square-notch with white square dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are two-piece stippled Hogue black rubber panels that envelop the backstrap. The front strap is serrated. There are some scattered tiny freckles of discoloration. There are some light handling marks. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grip rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp, and there is no erosion, but there is stubborn fouling throughout the grooves.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. There is some very faint oxidation on the top of the slide. Other than that, only light handling marks are present. The action shows light operational wear. All screws are sharp, pins are unmarred, and all markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The single action is light and crisp, and the double action is smooth. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This pistol comes in its original serial matching hard case with two 8-round magazines, a manual, and a safety lock.
Our Assessment: This Sig P220 is chambered for the popular .45 auto and was manufactured in 2011. This pistol is very clean, retaining about 96% of its original finish. This is a practical pistol for home defense or carry. Please see our photos and good luck!
