Our Assessment: The Ruger M77 is a robust bolt-action rifle designed in 1968 by L. James Sullivan during his short three-years with Ruger. Intended originally as a modernized Mauser 98, it featured simplified ejector updates and a newly designed safety system.
This is an Original Tang Safety Model made back in 1975. The deep action looks impressive set in the colored laminate stock. This M77 has a strong bore, installed bipod and is topped with a Leupold VX-3  6.5-20x50mm scope. This Ruger M77 should do well out at a distance. Good luck.
