Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 92% of its metal finish. There are some scattered light scuffs, scratches and swirling. Most notable, there appears to be wear on each side of the frame from a previously installed grip with lines of wear in front of each grip panel. The action shows light operational wear including a turn-line on the cylinder. The screw head is tool marked with a strong slot. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in Very Good-plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The double-action trigger pull is smooth and the single-action trigger pull is crisp. The cylinder lockup is good on all six chambers with barely perceptible movement. We have not fired this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None.

Our Assessment: This is a stainless-steel Ruger Redhawk with a 5 1/2” barrel and an adjustable rear sight. Chambered for .41 Magnum, it won’t be quite the wrist-breaker that a .44 would, but will still be quite suitable for target shooting and handgun hunting. The action on this good-looking revolver is solid and the bore is bright with sharp rifling. The revolver is in Very Good-plus condition with signs of use, but not abuse. While a little large for concealed carry, this revolver will be great for whatever other purpose you may have for a .41 Magnum. Please see our photos and good luck!
