Markings: The underside of the receiver is marked “K80 / KRIEGHOFF / GERMANY”. The left lip of the receiver is marked “KRIEGHOFF INT., OTTSVILLE, PA 101991” and the right lip is marked with proofs and the date code. The forend hardware is numbered “101991”. The forend, lever, trigger guard, and receiver have scroll engraving. The left side of the upper barrel is marked with a two line warning. The left side of the lower barrel is marked “KRIEGHOFF INT., OTTSVILLE, PA”. The left side of each chamber is marked “3””. The left side of both barrels are marked with proofs. The bottom of the right shoulder of the barrel set is marked “A10163”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked with proofs and “MADE IN / GERMANY / KRIRGHOFF / ULM DE”.

Barrel Length: Nominal 32″, 31 3/4″ Measured

Choke: The barrels are threaded for chokes and installed with Modified over Improved Modified.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white bead in a base that is screwed to the rib. There is a smaller metal midbead on the rib.

Weight: 9 lb., 0 oz.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered wood with a pistol grip with palm swells, adjustable comb, Schnabel tip finger groove forend, and adjustable rubber buttpad. The stocks have light wear, some of the most noticeable are compressions on the belly and on the left side of the forend. There are some scattered light handling marks. There are some draglines. The checkering is mostly strong. The LOP measures 15” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The drop at the comb is 1 1/2″, the drop at the rear of the adjustable comb is 2″,  and at the heel is 2 1/2″. The stocks rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright with no erosion.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There is some scattered light wear. The most noticeable defects on the gun is a light scratch on the bottom of the lower barrel at the muzzle. There are a few light scuffs on the barrels. The screw heads are sharp to lightly worn with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine Plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The safety has been locked in the fire position with the set screw. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a hard case, manual, tools, and five extra extended chokes. The chokes are two (2) Light Modified chokes, two (2) Improved Cylinder chokes, and a single Skeet choke.

Our Assessment: The Kreighoff K80 needs no introduction…. It is the Rolex or Rolls-Royce of the shooting world. It is the gun that just about every shooter wants to add to the safe or arsenal for the range. The gun can literally take thousands of rounds and shooters trust these guns to take the abuse of serious competition. With that being said, this one is all ready for you to hit the range to compete, it has a 32″ barrel and comes with 5 additional chokes.
