The right side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “G128677”. The bottom of the floor plate is marked “-SUPER GRADE-”

Sights / Optics: The top of the receiver is drilled, tapped and installed with mounts and 1” rings holding a Leupold Vari-X III 3-10x40mm scope with duplex reticle. The scope body only shows a couple light scratches and handling marks. The scope glass is clear.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one-piece wood featuring a checkered forend, checkered semi-pistol grip, straight comb with cheek piece and an orange rubber buttpad. The stocks only show some light handling marks, no chips and no cracks. The checkering remains sharp. The LOP measures 13.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The buttpad only shows some light scuffing along the edges. The stock is in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is right with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is a small scratch on the left of the receiver and some operational marks on the bolt. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a Leupold Vari-X III 3-10x40mm scope as described above. It also comes with a leather sling that shows no sign of wear, fraying or use, and a BOSS (Ballistic Optimizing Shooting System) muzzle device designed to allow for greater accuracy at distance by fine tuning the harmonics of the barrel using an adjustable weight system.
Our Assessment: The .338 Win. Mag. cartridge is a belted rimless .375 H&H Magnum that has been shortened, blown out and necked down. It is considered to be the beginning of the medium bore cartridges. With this rifle, you can take elk and moose sized game well beyond the range of a .30-06, and it can even be used for protection against those big brown furry things in Canada and Alaska, as long as you see them before they eat you. This Winchester Classic Super Grade III is in Excellent condition with a few marks through the finish. The installed BOSS device should give an even greater advantage at distance given the proper preparation at the range beforehand. This would be an incredible addition to any serious hunter’s roster.
