Our Assessment: Wilson Combat has long been known as one of the best manufacturers of custom and semi-custom 1911s in the world. This pistol is an excellent example of why they have earned this reputation. Wilson has combined the most desired upgrades including angled slide serrations, front and back strap checkering, flat mainspring housing, extended beavertail grip safety, full-length guide-rod, beveled magazine well, and skeletonized trigger with their legendary craftsmanship quality. This is their now discontinued 1996 A2 model with a hard chrome and black duo-tone finish. It looks to have seen little use will be a great shooter for decades to come. For those who want the best of the best, you need to drop a bid, we don’t see them often. Please see our photos and good luck!
