Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are black checkered Lexan panels secured to the grip frame. There is no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The grips are in Excellent overall condition.

Our Assessment: This AMT Back-Up is a double-action only semi-automatic pistol chambered for .38 Super rounds. It was manufactured when the company was based in Irwindale, California. The Back-Up is designed to be a compact self-defense handgun and is perfect for concealed carry. Most of the Back-Up models are chambered for .380 ACP, but not this one! This double-action-only pistol is chambered for the potent .38 Super cartridge. With six round magazines, this is a small pistol that packs quite a punch. The pistol has a durable stainless steel finish and it remains mechanically sound. The .38 Super Back-Ups are not particularly common and would also make a great option for an AMT or pocket pistol collector. This is a solid option that you do not want to miss out on!
