Our Assessment: This Volquartsen Stingray is a lightweight target and hunting pistol built on a Ruger MKII frame. These customized pistols are known for their excellent accuracy and handling characteristics, featuring a 7 ½’ overall length match, digitally-gauged barrel with radial flutes to dissipate heat during rapid fire shooting. The compensator is standard equipment on the Stingray. The gold plated trigger has a pre-travel adjustment screw and the pistol is equipped with an Aimpoint 1000 red dot scope. Whether you’re looking for a .22 pistol for plinking, competition, or hunting, Ruger MKII’s are still among the best and most reliable on the market and the Volquartsen customization and Aimpoint scope make this an excellent package.
