There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 13 1/4” & 12 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the pad, which shows some faint discoloration in the checkering. The stocks rate in about Fine overall condition.

There is faint operational wear. The markings are clear and the pins are clean. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This shotgun both loads and ejects shells through the bottom of the receiver. The safety is conveniently mounted on the top rear of the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun.

Our Assessment: The Browning BPS model shotgun was introduced in 1977. This example was manufactured in 1993 and is the Youth & Ladies model, sporting a 22” barrel and chambered for 20” shells. If you shoot left handed, the loading and ejection port is located beneath the receiver-eliminating the expense of a left handed pump and keeping the ejected shells from passing through your field of vision. This shotgun is in great shape, retaining about 98% of its original finish and appears to have seen hardly any use in the field. The mechanics are strong and the bore is bright. This shotgun would make a terrific field gun for a special young one. Please see our photos and good luck!
