Our Assessment: Kimber has been associated with quality guns here in the U.S. for decades, building some of the finest semi-custom rifles and pistols on the market. This beautiful side by side has many features of high dollar shotguns like hand detachable sidelocks, internal action parts highly polished and fitted, jeweled internals and barrel breech, cocking indicators, 3″ magnum capability, and beautifully figured Turkish walnut stocks. Balanced wonderfully right on the hinge pin and gorgeous to the eye, it would be impossible to find a better value anywhere. The wood is hand checkered to perfection and finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish. The action has a stunning bone and charcoal case color hardening, and there is just enough engraving to add a touch of elegance. The buttstock is fitted to the rebated frame to perfection, with perfectly executed teardrops at the apex of the locks and a hand checkered butt! These are features found on some of the best guns out of England and Italy. This is a beautiful gun and should be a fine shotgun to take upland game hunting. Please see our photos and good luck!
