Markings: The dust cover is marked “RECON TACTICAL”. The right side of the handguard is marked “WILSON COMBAT” at the rear. The bottom of the barrel is marked “WILSON COMBAT .458 SOCOM 1-14”. The extractor is marked “458”. The left side of the receiver is marked “.458 SOCOM” and “WILSON COMBAT”. The front and rear iron sights are both marked with Wilson Combat “WC” logo. The charging handle is marked “PRI USA www.pri-mounts.com U.S. PAT. 6311603 JR”.

Handguard Configuration & Condition: The handguard is a 13.75″ Wilson Combat handguard with a Picatinny rail along the top, QD mounts on both sides at the rear, a 1.75″ portion of Picatinny rail mounted to the left side at the front, and drilled & tapped holes running the length of the sides and bottom spaced approximately every 0.75″. The rail has a few light marks through the finish, no major defects. The rail rates in about Fine Plus condition.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Wilson Combat flip-up sight with a windage adjustable post between two protective ears. The rear sight is a two-position flip-up sight with two apertures between protective ears, one of the apertures has a square notch on the top edge.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This upper assembly retains approximately 97% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered light marks. Some of the most noticeable wear is on the edges of the handguard. The markings are clear. Overall, this upper assembly is in Fine-Excellent condition.
