Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “Trailside” and “SIG Arms INC. / EXETER-NH-USA”, the right is marked “READ MANUAL BEFORE USE / Hammerli Made in Switzerland” and “Trailside”. The right of the frame is marked “.22 l.r. Nr. E0014995”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade integral to the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch dovetailed to the rear of the slide. The top of the barrel is grooved to accept an optic (not included).
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece black polymer with slight thumb-shelves on each side that envelop the back strap. The front strap is serrated. Each panel has some scattered light draglines. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Fine-Plus overall condition.
Type of Finish: Black barrel and frame, electroless nickel slide.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion, just some minor fouling near the throat.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a couple of light marks on the top of the barrel. The trigger guard has taken a slight plum hue. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are sharp and clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: This pistol has a slide-mounted manual safety. The action functions correctly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a black plastic Sig box with serial matching label, test target medallion, safety lock, manual and a total of two 10-round magazines in Excellent condition.
Our Assessment: The Hammerli Trailside is a Swiss target pistol, a simplified version of their Model 215. With its fixed barrel and simple design, it’s not hard to see how the pistol is able to produce groups like the one seen on its test-target medallion. This pistol is in Excellent condition with little evidence of use. It comes in its original box with manual and extra magazine, ready to hit the range. Please see our photos and good luck!
