Our Assessment: The Model 1894 was the first rifle with a flat-top, side-eject receiver. Originally patented on August 1, 1893 by L.L. Hepburn, it features a revolutionary lever-fire system with repeat-fire capability. This beautiful rifle sports an American walnut stock and a 20” octagon barrel, and is built with a precision-tuned receiver. The barrel has Ballard-style rifling and is chambered for 45 Colt. This rifle is in Excellent condition showing little, if any, signs of use in the field and comes in its factory original matching box. Don’t pass up the opportunity to add this to your arsenal. Please see our photos and good luck!
