Our Assessment: The Sig Sauer P228, designated M11 by the U.S. Military, is a compact double stack 9mm full size combat pistol, a smaller version of the P226. It can also be used for Carry and self-defense. The gun fits the hand well and has familiar controls found on other Sig models. Sig has multiple contracts with different countries from basic law enforcement to special forces because they make the best. This pistol is ergonomic, reliable, and in Excellent condition. It comes in its original box and appears as though it was fired rarely. This makes it a great “Used” gun option for anyone in the market for a quality semi-automatic pistol. Early Sig Sauer pistols have long been recognized as being some of the highest quality handguns on the market; in fact, West German manufacturing was so much better quality than their East German counterparts that manufacturers successfully lobbied the government to continue to mark their products with West Germany for 5 years after reunification to assure their customers that they were getting the best. Please see our photos and good luck!
