Our Assessment: The Winchester 9422M is a late-era lever action rifle that makes the best of the storied functionality and dependability of the rifles that came before it. Based on the company’s tried and true Model 94 Lever Action carbine, the rifle was rather popular in the time it was manufactured, starting in 1972 and going until 2005. This example was manufactured in 2003, but one would be hard-pressed to believe it given its overall high condition. This rifle is an ideal choice for those new to shooting, or for parents that want their children to begin taking the responsibility of being a shooter. Please see our photos and good luck!
