Our Assessment: This Turkish Mauser started life as a Model 1938 back in 1935 (conversions started in 1933). It was originally chambered in 8mm Mauser. It has since been converted to fire .45 ACP using a modern conversion kit which includes a new barrel. This carbine conversion accepts .45 ACP magazines and is topped with a scope. The scope assembly is in Fine condition. This .45 ACP carbine should be a lot of fun at the range.
We believe the conversion kit is a Rhineland Arms Kit. For more info see their web site at: www.troupsystems.com/product/mauser-45-acp-military-barrel/
