Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “BERETTA U.S.A. CORP. ACKK, MD. – MADE IN USA” and “PB” in an oval. The left side of the frame is marked with the serial number “BER340273”. The right side of the slide is marked “92 BRIGADIER – FS – CAL. 9 Parabellum – PATENTED”. The right side of the frame features a safety disclaimer. The top of the barrel and the front of the slide is marked “STAINLESS”.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a blade integral to the muzzle end of the slide with a white dot. The rear sight is a square-notch dovetailed to the rear end of the slide with two white dots.
Stock Configuration: The grip is a one-piece textured black rubber with finger grooves. The grip wraps around the front strap. There are minor handling marks throughout, but otherwise no exceptional wear. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grip is in Very Good-plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are intermittent minor nicks on either side of the frame, a few very minor nicks on the top of the slide, and a small patch of light surface oxidation on the top of the slide. The markings remain clear. The screwheads are sharp. Overall, the pistol is in Fine-to-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit is snug. The single-action trigger is crisp and the double-action is smooth. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Beretta Model 92-FS is a single and double-action semi-automatic pistol chambered for 9mm Luger rounds. The pistol is an icon today, it was selected as the standard issue firearm for the U.S. military 1985. This is an impressively finished pistol that remains mechanically sound. Beretta is currently the oldest manufacturer of firearms and firearm components in the world, the company manufactured arquebus barrels which were supplied to the Venetian fleet that defeated the Ottomans during the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. The company remains one of the most prestigious firearms manufacturers in the world and this is a quality showing of theirs. This 92FS Brigadier Inox has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel slide which gives it a distinctive appearance. It is suited for carry in areas with high humidity or frequent rain and would also be a nice addition for a Beretta collector. Good luck and happy bidding!
