Markings: The bottom of the dust cover is marked “STI INTERNATIONAL / GEORGETOWN, TX USA”. The top of the chamber is marked “9 X 19”. The right side of the frame is marked with an American flag and the serial number. The left side of the dust cover is marked “20*11”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Dawson blade with a red fiber-optic insert, it is dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a Heine square notch with a serrated rear face and serrated rear face, it is dovetailed and screw set to the slide. The rear sight has a vertical font face for one-handed slide racking.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The trigger guard and grip frame are one piece, made of high strength synthetic material, in black, showing a stippled pattern. The grip has some light handling wear but no major defects. The grip rates in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is some finish wear on the extended magazine well. There is light handling and operational wear. The grip screws are undamaged and the markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: This pistol has ambidextrous thumb safeties, an adjustable trigger, crisp trigger, short reset, strong mainspring, skeletonized hammer & trigger, the grip safety has a rise to index one’s palm correctly each time. The slide and frame have superb mating and is very smooth. The action works correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with an 18-round magazine, soft case, and paperwork including the manual. Please note, no magazine will be included if prohibited by your local laws.
Our Assessment: The 1911 and 1911-A1 pistols served the military of the United States from 1911 to 1985, through two World Wars and the Korean and Vietnam wars. They gained a reputation as a reliable handgun with plenty of stopping power, and are held in high regard by those who have used them. The design is one of the most beloved and has gone through many design changes such as modular frames like this Pro Model 5.0 from STI. It features a Dawson front sight, Heine rear sight, a 2011 double stack modular grip, 5” bull barrel, railed frame, full length guide rod, skeletonized hammer & trigger, ambidextrous safeties, an indexing bump beavertail safety, and forward & rear slide serrations. This one has been kept in beautiful condition by a previous owner and does not look like it has seen much use at all and comes with one magazine and a soft case.
