Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “CAL. 9”. The right side of the frame is marked “AE15107” and “=READ WARNINGS= / BEFORE USING GUNS”. The left side of the frame is marked “F.T. = MADE IN ITALY”. There are likely markings on the left side of the frame under the rail, however we could not safely remove the rail without risk of stripping the screw heads.
Barrel Length: 5 1/4” Threaded with Compensator. The gun will be sold disassembled. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to abide by all applicable local laws.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a small blade fixed at the front of the serrated rib. The rear sight has been removed and in its place, a slide rack has been installed. Equipped to a side mounted rail is a Tasco ProPoint red dot sight adjustable for brightness. The brightness levels are 0-11. The sight shows faint external wear and the dot is clear and crisp. The sight rates in about Fine-Plus condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered wood panels. The front and back straps are serrated. The checkering is generally sharp with light handling wear and the smooth borders are clean. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Fine-Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a few light handling marks and very light operational wear on the barrel, frame and slide. The grip screws are lightly tool marked, the mount screws are disfigured and we were unable to turn them. The visible markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The installed aftermarket trigger is light and crisp and is equipped with an over travel adjustment screw. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with one 18-round magazine, the installed compensator, and the previously mentioned Tasco red dot. Please note, no magazine will be included where prohibited by law.
Our Assessment: Drawing significantly from the design of the CZ-75, the Tanfoglio Witness shares many of that pistol’s qualities including a slide-in design which allows for less reciprocating mass and a lower bore axis and an all-steel construction. The Witness does have forward slide serrations, not found on many CZ-75 pistols. This pistol is drilled and tapped with an installed side rail equipped with a Tasco Pro Point sight. The dot is adjustable for luminosity 0-11 and is sharp. Also installed is a slide racker for easier manipulation of the slide with the sight installed. This pistol is in about Fine-Excellent condition with little evidence of use and no evidence of abuse and comes with one 18-round magazine which is also in Excellent condition. This would make a fine competition pistol, allowing you to make Major in USPSA matches with factory ammunition which should not be hard to find. Please see our pictures and good luck!
