Our Assessment: Browning Citori shotguns are extremely dependable and make for great investments. The Citori was introduced in 1973 as an alternative to the highly successful Superposed model. This example is a Citori Lightning Feather, with 26” barrels threaded for Invector Plus chokes and chambered for 12 gauge 3″ inch shells. This model was made from 1999-2007 and has an alloy receiver with a steel breechface dovetailed in and a steel hinge pin. Even though it is over 20 years old, it has strong mechanics, bright bores, and a tight lockup. This ought to be a great shotgun for hunting or clay shooting for the lucky winner. Please see our photos and good luck!
