Barrel Length: 18 1/2” Threaded Government Barrel
Sights/Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade with protective ears integral to a bayonet lug/banded base that is pinned to the barrel just forward of the gas block. The rear sight is an adjustable ghost ring with protective ears that is fixed to the rear of the receiver.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is well-defined. There is no erosion, but light minor stubborn fouling persists in throughout.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 94% of its metal finish. Light thinning can be seen on the edges of the receiver, the bolt handle, and the front sight. There is moderate finish loss throughout the rear sight assembly. Pins and screws are undamaged. All markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork and Accessories: This Mini-14 includes a flash hider (not installed).
Our Assessment: The Mini-14 is a classic American rifle that has seen use in most sectors, private and military, all over the world. In production currently, there have been many variants throughout its history. On offer here is the barreled action for a GB (“Government Barrel”) variant. Take note of the front sight placement and bayonet lug. This version of the Mini-14 was provided to government agencies and police departments, and often featured folding stocks and larger capacity magazines. While none of these things are included here, the enterprising collector likely won’t have a terrible time assembling what they need to complete the rifle. This barreled action is in Fine overall condition with very little wear beyond the finish loss on the rear sight assembly. Good luck and happy bidding!
