Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “PIETRO BERETTA GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY” and “PB” in an oval. The right side of the slide is marked “MOD. 92 FS – CAL. 9 Parabellum – PATENTED”. The left side of the frame is marked “L41131Z”. The top of the barrel and the face of the slide are marked “STAINLESS”. The right side trigger guard bow is marked with a pair of Italian proof marks and a “BC” date code, indicating the year of manufacture as 1993.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a blade with a red dot integral to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a square notch with two red dots dovetailed into the rear of the slide. The lamps have dimmed completely.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are two-piece synthetic that flank a serrated frontstrap and backstrap. There are light handling marks, but otherwise the grips are free of any notable wear or damage. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Fine-plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is well-defined. There is no erosion, but there is light stubborn fouling in the grooves.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are minor handling marks, a few minor nicks and scuffs on the slide flats, and light operational wear around the controls. The grip screws have strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates Fine-plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The double action is smooth and the single action is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This 92FS includes a non serial-matching blue cardboard box, a blue Beretta snap-case, one (1) 15-round magazine, and cleaning tools.
