Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “BERETTA U.S.A. CORP. ACKK, MD. – MADE IN USA” and “PB”. The left side of the frame is marked with the serial number “BER055170”. The right side of the slide is marked “MOD. 92FS – CAL. 9mm Parabellum – PATENTED”. The right side of the frame features a safety disclaimer. The top of the barrel is marked “STAINLESS”.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a blade integral to the muzzle end of the slide with a red dot. The rear sight is a square-notch dovetailed to the rear end of the slide with two red dots.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The grip panels are two-piece textured rubber. The grip panels have light handling marks, nicks and scuffs. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grip panels are in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are a few scuffs, nicks and light handling marks on the metal surfaces of the pistol. The markings remain clear. The screwheads remain serviceable. Overall, the pistol is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit is snug. The single-action trigger is crisp and the double-action is smooth. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: The pistol comes with two 10-round magazines and a Beretta case. The magazines have some light handling wear but they remain in Very Good condition. The case has some handling wear but remains in Very Good condition.
Our Assessment: This Beretta Model 92-FS is a single and double-action semi-automatic pistol chambered for 9mm Luger rounds. The pistol is an icon today, it was selected as the standard issue firearm for the U.S. military 1985. This is an impressively finished pistol that remains mechanically sound. Beretta is currently the oldest manufacturer of firearm components in the world, the company manufactured arquebus barrels which were supplied to the Venetian fleet that defeated the Ottomans during the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. The company remains one of the most prestigious firearms manufacturers in the world and this is a quality showing of theirs. This 92FS Inox has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel slide which gives it a distinctive appearance. It is suited for carry in areas with high humidity or frequent rain and would also be a nice addition for a Beretta collector. Good luck on your bid!
