Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL, P.Q. MADE IN JAPAN/MIROKU”. The right side of the barrel is marked “INVECTOR BPS SPECIAL STEEL 1OGA-3 ½” FIELD MODEL-26”.” The right side of the receiver is marked “04506MZ121”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “10 GA”. The bottom of the trigger guard is stamped with the Browning BuckMark.
Barrel Length: The barrel length is 26” and features a full length ventilated and finely checkered rib to reduce glare.
Choke: The barrel is threaded for the Browning Invector chokes. Included and installed is a Comp-N-Choke that is marked as Modified. No additional chokes are included.
Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with an aftermarket magnetic green fiber optic front sight. The top of the receiver is serrated to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are black matte synthetic field stocks with a checkered pistol grip with a plain black cap, a checkered forearm, fluted straight comb, and a Limb Saver butt pad. The buttstock shows some scattered light draglines. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 14 1/2” & 13 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad and stock, respectively. The pad is soft and shows some scattered white discoloration. The stocks rate in about Fine-Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light wear on the magazine tube from the action. There are light handling marks on the receiver. The pins are unmarked. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This pump action shotgun features a convenient top-tang safety and bottom ejection for ambidextrous operation. It is a very well balanced shotgun and has a great feel. Browning’s website states that “The receiver forms a “roof” over the action– there is no opening on either side for an ejection port, so a drenching rain won’t drip into the action. When you shoot, bottom ejection makes sure there are no empties flying to the side, across your line of sight to distract your aim. With this set-up and lead or bismuth shot, you could be ready for turkey hunting. Please see our photos and good luck!
