Our Assessment: The .30-30 Win. cartridge is said to have killed more deer in the United States than any other, so there is no doubt as to its utility. The Marlin 336 is one of the pillars of quality American-made lever-action rifles. This is a great-looking rifle in Fine condition with a nice bore and strong mechanics. It is light and easy to carry so if you are going hunting in heavy brush, and/or don’t want to carry a big, heavy rifle around with you all day; this is a very practical choice. Please see our photos and good luck!
