Overall, the stock is in Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions properly. The barrels have no play on the stock. We have not fired this percussion shotgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box Paperwork and Accessories: None

Our Assessment: This CVA Brittany Shotgun II is a .410 bore percussion muzzle-loader. The shotgun was sold by CVA until 1989 when the company discontinued its sale. Like many of CVA’s early offerings the shotgun was manufactured in Eibar, a region of Spain famous for its gun industry. The shotgun is an interesting utilitarian option that should prove handy to fans of blackpowder muzzleloaders. Good luck on your bid!
