Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “M&P 9 SHIELD PLUS” and features the Smith & Wesson logo. The left and right sides of the grip are marked “M&P”. The top of the barrel is marked “9MM”. The right side of the slide is marked “SMITH & WESSON / SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A.” and “CAUTION-CAPABLE OF FIRING WHEN MAGAZINE IS REMOVED”. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number “JME0519” adjacent to a barcode. The top of the front sight is marked “TG-H3” and the rear sight is marked “M&P”.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a small blade with a tritium lamp in the rear face. The rear sight is a dovetailed square notch with two tritium lamps at the rear end of the slide. The lamps shine brightly in low light conditions.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The grip is one-piece polymer and is integrated into the frame. It features textured front and back-straps. The grip has some minor handling and storage marks, but lacks any notable defects. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grip is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is some minor fouling in the grooves.
Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 99% of its finish. There is some light operational wear on the chamber but otherwise there is only mild handling wear. The markings remain clear. The screws are serviceable. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide action is smooth. We did not fire this pistol. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: This pistol comes in its original serial matching box with paperwork including the manual, one 10-round magazine, and a safety lock.
Our Assessment: This Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield Plus is a striker-fired single-action only semi-automatic pistol that takes 9mm Parabellum rounds.
