Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “M-14S .308 / IDE USA SFLD MICH. / POLYTECH CHINA”, the serial number “11326”, and “MADE IN / CHINA”. The bottom of the bolt is marked “00759”. The left protected portion of the barrel is marked “12”, “13”, “46”, and “6”. The trigger housing is marked “00759”.
Barrel Length: 22”, 25” to the end of the faux flash hider.
Sights/ Optics: The rear sight is a fully-adjustable aperture set between protective ears, the face of the right knob is marked “LEFT” twice between alternating curved arrows and “WCE” underneath one of the curved arrows. The body of the left knob is marked with numbers 2-11 with “W” “C” and “E” between 10 and 8, and “M” between 10 and 11. The front sight is a blade between two protective ears dovetailed and set screwed to the faux flash hider.
Stock Configuration & Condition / Grip: The wood stock features a pistol grip, a straight comb, a steel buttplate with storage compartment and flip-up steel shoulder rest, and the factory sling swivel at the bottom of the forend and a fixed sling swivel at the rear. There is a green canvas sling attached to the swivels. There are some handling marks, scratches and nicks. There are no cracks or chips. The LOP measures approximately 13 1/8” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttplate, which shows light thinning along the edges. Overall, the stock is in Very Good-Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 97% of its finish. There are infrequent handling marks and faint scratches. There is light thinning at most leading edges. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall this rifle is in Very Good condition.
Finish Originality: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: The rifle comes in its original box with an attached sling and an additional fiberglass stock. There is a large tear on the right side of the box and a solution has been spilled on it. The sling is web green with black metal attachments. The threading is still strong, but there is some mild operational wear. The metal parts have some handling marks. Overall the sling is in Very Good condition. The stock sports a green/black tiger pattern and has scratches and compressions, in about Very Good condition. One 20-round high-capacity magazine is included. Please note, the magazine will not be included wear prohibited by law.
Our Assessment: This Polytech M14-S is a semi-automatic rifle that takes .308 Win rounds. This is a Chinese produced reproduction of the original M14-S that was made by the Chinese company Poly Technologies, Inc. and distributed between 1988-89 in the U.S. The rifle has a bit of wear but remains serviceable and with a little work should be ready for a day on the range.
