Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL / —RUGER— / NEWPORT, NH USA”. The right side of the barrel is marked “RUGER GP100” and “357 MAGNUM 7 SHOT”. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number, “179-33409”, “®”, and the company’s phoenix logo.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a blade with a green fiber optic insert set in a dovetail slot at the muzzle. The rear sight is a square notch with a white outline adjustable for windage and elevation pinned to the top of the frame.

Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are two-piece textured wood bird’s head panels with finger grooves and Ruger phoenix logs. There is light use-wear, but otherwise the grips are free of any notable wear or damage. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is sharp and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are light handling marks, but otherwise this revolver is free of any notable wear or damage. Pins are unmarred, and all markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks up with minor play with the trigger depressed. The single action is crisp, and the double action is smooth. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
