Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “B-Turner” in cursive.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a blade at the muzzle end of the barrel. The rear sight is a “U”-notch dovetailed to the rear end of the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The stock is one-piece smooth wood featuring two brass ferrules, a slot for the included ramrod in the forend, a lock plate, straight wrist with finger grooves integral to the trigger guard, Monte Carlo style comb, a slide-on patchbox and metal buttplate. The stock has some light handling marks but lacks any notable defects. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP is 14” from the trigger to the rear end of the buttplate. The buttplate has some light handling marks. Overall, the stock is in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with sharp rifling. There is some stubborn fouling in the bore.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The rifle has some stubborn fouling around the front sight, minor scratches and some handling marks. The marking is clear. The screwheads remain serviceable. Overall, the rifle is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

The rifle was made sometime in the 2000s by the gunsmith Brian Turner who has made a good number of black-powder firearms. The rifle is well suited to hunting and recreational shooting at the range. This is a beautifully crafted rifle that black powder enthusiasts will not want to miss out on!
